AP EXCLUSIVE: FERGUSON NO-FLY ZONE AIMED AT MEDIA [Excerpts]
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The U.S. government agreed to a police request to restrict more than 37 square miles of airspace surrounding Ferguson, Missouri, for 12 days in August for safety, but
audio recordings show that local authorities privately acknowledged the purpose was to keep away news helicopters during violent street protests.
On Aug. 12, the morning after the Federal Aviation Administration imposed the first flight restriction, FAA air traffic managers struggled to redefine the flight ban to let commercial flights operate at nearby Lambert-St. Louis International Airport and police helicopters fly through the area
- but ban others.
"They finally admitted it really was to keep the media out," said one FAA manager about the St. Louis County Police in a series of recorded telephone conversations obtained by The Associated Press.
Syria condemns positions expressed by French and Turkish presidents
03/11/2014
Damascus, SANA – Syria strongly condemned the positions voiced by the French and Turkish presidents following their recent meeting in Paris which showed the level of complicity between them in conspiring against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria in blatant contradiction with the goals and principles of the UN Charter and international law.
An official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry told SANA on Monday that
the course followed by the French and Turkish governments regarding Syria and
the *myriad forms* of support they provide to armed terrorist organizations in Syria – in blatant violation of the Security Council’s counterterrorism resolutions –
are responsible for the crisis in Syria,
the shedding of Syrian blood, and
hindering counterterrorism efforts, and
this requires that the [REAL] international community *condemn the hostile behavior of the French and Turkish governments*.
The source said that rather than interfere in the internal affairs of other countries, the French and Turkish leaderships should address the mounting internal crises in their own countries that are reflected by growing public discontent at their policies,
adding that *running towards foreign affairs to hide their failures* will result in further moral and political downfall.

U.S. Ulterior Intention in Advocating "Defense of Human Rights"
The U.S. [The World Tyrant's] "advocacy of human rights" is, in essence,
one for bringing down social systems and
a theory of aggression and
the one for world domination.
The U.S. ruling quarters' talk about "defence of human rights" is a crafty move to cover up *its* worst human rights abuses.
The U.S. is malignantly slandering the DPRK which provides the people with the most genuine human rights because it [The World Tyrant] is pursuing a sinister aim to stifle socialism in the DPRK with inveterate repugnancy toward the socialist system.
There can be no genuine human rights in places where sovereignty and peace are infringed upon.
The U.S. aggression and war amount to an encroachment on sovereignty, state-sponsored terrorism and heinous human rights abuses.
To protect human rights *precisely means protecting the country's sovereignty, social system and peace*.
The DPRK's dynamic advance along the road of independence, Songun [military first!] and socialism is to defend its genuine human rights to the last and enjoy them forever. No force can ever break this unshakable faith and will.
If the U.S. tries to seriously encroach upon the sovereignty of the DPRK while hyping its non-existent "human rights issue" to an extreme pitch,
it [the DPRK] will certainly force the former to pay for all [its] crimes with the might of Songun it has built up so far.
