Supreme Leader Meets with Judiciary Officials

Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met Sunday morning with the head and officials of the judiciary branch.  Speaking at the meeting, His Eminence stated that cooperation and solidarity among the heads of the three branches of government is necessary and very important.  Referring to the recent developments in Iraq, he said: "It is western imperial powers —-headed by America [The World Tyrant]—- that act behind the scenes in fueling the fire of fitna in Iraq.   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fitna_(word) The Islamic Republic of Iran expresses its strong opposition to any interference of America [The World Tyrant] in the domestic affairs of Iraq and it believes that the people, government and religious marja of Iraq have the capability to extinguish this fire on their own."  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marja%27 The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution reiterated: "I have always advised the heads of the three branches of government to increase their cooperation.  This cooperation includes intra-organizational issues as well as the major issues of the country."  Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the importance of the national interests of the country and added: "The heads of the three branches of government should increase their joint meetings because these meetings enormously help to solve problems, move things forward and resolve complaints."  His Eminence stressed: "One of the main challenges of the country is the serious hostility and opposition of global arrogance [The World Tyrant] towards the Islamic Republic.  This reality should be understood and comprehended.  If we do not understand the hostility of global arrogance [The World Tyrant] towards ourselves, we will make a mistake in analyzing the issues of the country.  *Those who are not prepared to see the hostile behavior of the camp of the enemy are like those people who close their eyes to the enemy*.”  He stated that the main reason behind the hostility of global arrogance [The World Tyrant] towards the Islamic Republic of Iran is  *the new discourse* of the Islamic Republic and  the imminent collapse of global arrogance  [The World Tyrant].  Referring to the recent developments in Iraq, His Eminence said: "On the issue of Iraq, western imperial powers —- particularly, the regime of the United States of America [The World Tyrant]-— are trying to take advantage of the ignorance and prejudice of a number of indecisive elements."  The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution added: "The main goal of the recent events in Iraq is depriving the people of this country of the achievements that they have made —-the most important of which is the rule of democracy—- despite the presence and interference of America [The World Tyrant].”  Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated: "America [The World Tyrant] is not satisfied with the current conditions in Iraq —-that is to say, holding elections with a high turnout on the part of the people and electing trustworthy candidates—- because it is after dominating Iraq and installing obedient persons."  Pointing to the efforts of some American officials who try to describe the recent developments in Iraq as a religious war, His Eminence mentioned: “*What has occurred in Iraq is not a war between Shia and Sunni*.  Rather, global arrogance [The World Tyrant] is trying to shatter peace and tranquility in Iraq and threaten the territorial integrity of this country by using  the leftovers of Saddam's regime as the main elements and  takfiri elements as infantry."  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takfiri He added: "The main fight in Iraq is between those people who want to turn Iraq into America's [The World Tyrant’s] base and those who want to help Iraq achieve independence."  The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution stressed that the people of Iraq themselves are capable of confronting and extinguishing this fitna, saying: "We are strongly opposed to the interference of the Americans [The World Tyrant] and other people in the domestic issues of Iraq because we believe that the government, people and religious marja of this country have the capability to end this fitna and by Allah's favor, they will end it."

First Oil Delivery from Disputed Kurdish Pipeline Set for Israel [Excerpts]

Iraqi Kurdistan looked set to unload its first cargo of disputed crude oil in Israel from its new pipeline after weeks of seeking an outlet as Iraq's central government has threatened legal action against any buyer.

The SCF Altai tanker was anchored near Israel's Ashkelon port early on Friday morning, ship tracking and industry sources said.  The tanker is expected to dock early on Saturday, local sources said. 

Securing the first sale of oil from its independent pipeline to the Turkish port of Ceyhan is crucial for the Kurdish Regional Government as it seeks greater financial independence from war-torn Iraq. 

But the new export route to Turkey, built to bypass Baghdad's federal pipeline system, has created a bitter dispute over oil sale rights between the central government and the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG). 

It was not clear whether the crude in the SCF Altai has been sold to a local refiner or was slated to discharge into storage, potentially for another destination. 

“We do not comment on the origin of crude oil being imported by the private refineries in Israel,” an Israeli energy ministry spokeswoman said.

AP IMPACT: VA FALLS SHORT ON FEMALE MEDICAL ISSUES [Excerpts] 

-Female veterans have been placed on the VA's Electronic Wait List, which consists of all new patients for whom appointments cannot be scheduled in 90 days or less, at a higher rate than male veterans. 

-And according to a VA presentation last year, female veterans of child-bearing age were far more likely to be given medications that can cause birth defects than were women being treated through a private HMO.

"We want to make it right for our veterans to have the best kind of care, and women are included in *that* goal," she [Dr. Patricia Hayes, the VA's chief consultant for women's health] added.
