Vice-Chief of KPA General Staff Meets His Russian Counterpart
No Kwang Chol, vice-chief of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army, Wednesday met Andrei Kartapolov, deputy chief of the General Staff and director of its General Operation Bureau of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
No Kwang Chol is staying in Moscow as a member of the party of the special envoy of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.
Both sides had a wide-ranging exchange of views on putting the friendship and cooperation between the armies of the two countries on a new higher stage.
Present there were the defence attache of the DPRK embassy in Moscow and the vice director of the General Operation Bureau of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Meanwhile, on the same day Ri Kwang Gun, vice-minister of External Economic Relations who is a member of the special envoy's party, met Alexandr Galushka, minister of Development of Far East of Russia, and discussed measures for further boosting cooperation between the two countries in economy and trade for more substantial results.

KPA Southwestern Front Command Issues Warning to S. Korean Military
The southwestern front command of the Korean People's Army (KPA) released a report Friday as regards the fact that the south Korean puppet military warmongers are getting evermore pronounced in confrontation and provocation moves against the DPRK though four years have passed after the Yonphyong Island shelling incident.
The south Korean puppet military warmongers are mulling concluding the Hoguk joint military exercises with madcap live-shelling drills on Paekryong and Yonphyong islands with the backing of the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces present in south Korea.
They are planning to hold even a military parade as well as "memorial service", "awarding ceremony", "floral visit", etc. for those provokers who met a miserable end on the occasion of Nov. 23, the day of the Yonphyong Island shelling incident.
The world knows no one but the puppet military warmongers who go so brazen as to hold even such "ceremony" by painting the defeat as "victory",
the report said, and went on:
The KPA officers and men on the southwestern front sharply watch with high vigilance the warmongers keen only on driving the situation to an extreme phase through provocations in the acute hotspot waters, still without discretion.
Ridiculous is such behavior of those defeated provokers, who ardently asked the KPA to stop shelling at that time when the island was turned into a "hell of death" and "everything there was being reduced into ashes" by its shower of fire for justice.
It is the retaliatory will of the stalwart fighters on the southwestern front greeting the fourth anniversary of their victory in the Yonphyong Island shelling to bury the provokers at the bottom of sea for good so that they may not say even. . ."retrieval of defeat".
The mad provokers are bound to be beaten or killed by the KPA. It is their inevitable and miserable fate.
The sound of gunfire by the KPA in the Yonphyong Island shelling will remain an echo of victory forever, but it will always remain a dirge of defeat for the provokers.
The south Korean military warmongers should never forget the lesson from the bitter defeat in the Yonphyong Island shelling. . .[at any] time, the report warned.

Mikdad: The West [The World Tyrant] and its followers must learn from Damascus how to counter terrorism

Beirut, SANA- Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad stressed that many leaders of the countries and intellectuals in the world have exposed the terrorist Western policies against Syria and their destructive effect on the world and on the West itself.
”Fear has become notable in the statements of the Western officials who provided
a shy description of the dangers of terrorism in Syria and Iraq which is
totally different from what they have been promoting using all forms of distorting the facts of what is taking place on the ground,
Mikdad said in an article published by Lebanese al-Binaa Newspaper on Saturday.
”Syria’s enemies in the West and region have no choice but to admit that the heroic resilience of the Syrian people in the face of the terrorist war, which they declared against Syria, has foiled their plans and undermined the sinister conspiracy hatched against the country,” Mikdad affirmed.
He indicated that the moral and political bankruptcy of the Western states,
who thought that they have controlled the capabilities of the world since the end of what they called the “Cold War”,
has made the world a hostage to a single pole which imposes its hegemony on the political, cultural and economic situations in the world
to serve the West’s interests and institutions.
“This has undermined the credibility of the international organizations which have become a tool for implementing the Western approaches in different domains,” Mikdad clarified.
He stressed that
in spite of the fact that the West have admitted very late that Syria and Iraq are facing terrorism,
yet they are still hiding the second half of the truth which is *their lack of courage* to define who arms , harbors, finances and trains terrorists.
”It is impossible to believe that the Western intelligence apparatus don’t know those terrorists and their intentions, and the terrorist role played by the Turkish and Saudi governments which arm and finance them to kill the Syrians, Iraqis, Egyptians and Libyans,” Mikdad elaborated.
“The Western leaders *don’t have the courage* to admit the mistake they committed and media fabrication which they practiced in various directions to justify their role in the killing and destruction in Syria and later in Iraq and Libya,” he added.
He warned against the dangers of terrorists when they will return to the cities and countries from which they have come, saying that the lie of the so-called “moderate opposition” will [then] not be believed by the European nations anymore.
”The takfiri mentality which has been supported and nurtured by the Saudi regime has been the main basis of al-Qaeda and its branches,” Mikdad said.
He affirmed that “If the West and its followers honestly and really want to counter terrorism and implement the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council Nos. 1373, 2170 and 2178, we tell them that the road is very clear and Damascus is the address.”
”All those must learn from Damascus
how it has combated terrorism and remained resilient and
how it has kept terrorism’s danger away from the nations of the world and
preserved the dignity and sovereignty of Syria and its civilized and humanitarian role,”
Mikdad said.
